ok so I'm not going to put my head in the sand...

OK ...
So I was just venting...
and I guess I'll talk to adults too..

seeing the kids did such a great time tonight!
Except for one of mine...
BILLY!
WOW...he was horrible.
Upset because he didn't get a 4.0
Don't take it out on us...study more,
ASK some ole' questions in class.

He knows he doesn't fit in and wants too but doesn't try!
At least Nathan doesn't care about fitting in....
ha ha!
Bryson survived the evening and kept his hands to himself...
so I'm happy about that.
The swiping all legos/trains/paper/anything that looks like a toy works...

That reminds me...I still have toys in toy jail I need to take out!

The program went well and the Karayans did a fabulous job.
Some many people did such fabulous jobs...

but I was most impressed with DJ.
His life hasn't been the easiest...and
his personality is just sooooooooooo big...
boy he's really starting to mature...
just in time...
'cause his mini-him (Nathan) is
coming down the pike!
YIKES!
The only difference is Nathan homelife isn't going to
allow him to play Halo and have drunk friends over!
But they are so similar...I'm so scared for that.
Need to be praying instead of just yapping...
Good night all...Good night!

DJ seems like he's maturing into a Godly young man but I know it isn't/won't be easy. Esp. as you look at him as a role model for your kids. I will keep him in prayer.

Thanks Bethany. I see there is someone still reading... Ha hA! He's not a role model for my kids yet...but he's getting there. I'm just so grieved that his homelife is what it is...but I know God can work through anything. A great homelife doesn't guarantee you will be close to the Lord.

Vicki...I was going to post your comment from the email but stopped short. But I too understand DJ quite well...I was very similar to him in many ways. My parents (thank God) were very strick...but I still managed to act out here and there.
