Friday Photo Flashback...Here comes the...COUSINS!

Happy 18th Anniversary! and
It's time for Friday Photo Flashback!

Since my anniversary is this weekend...
let's show the one day...
I was
groomed,
shined,
polished,
plucked...
and primped over.

My hubby was
dashing,
clean,
shiny,
happy,
and wearing his monkey suit!

We enjoyed and endured our ceremony...
and finally the pictures (which took forever)

and then to reception.
I love the above picture, a shot in time, so calm and collected.

Then we went to the reception.
We never knew it but there was drama behind the scenes.

See us getting ready to jump the broom below...
Look at the table in the back...table 30...

We had exactly 33 tables...
and we fed 342 people.
There were some who came on time, but didn't RSVP...
they had to eat in the reception area outside the main room.

While my cousins from Long Beach
ALL 10 of them (pull 2 extras they brought, Pookie and them)
were late...not a little late...
but didn't come until after the cake...
and then wondered why they're food was cold,
outloud
and was not happy we didn't have a
bottomless bar!

I still LAUGH at that! The drama behind the scenes.
Oh we just didn't know.
I was too busy looking at my pretty flowers...
that I got my side job to pay for!

I still tell Bill that was the funniest day in my life...
and he always quips... "I liked the cake!"
Gotta dig that 1993 looking gold arch... that's just dripping
Dynasty holdover!

For more Flashback fun check out...
I'll be showing us progressing (um...aging) through the years tomorrow...
and honeymoon pictures on Sunday!

Happy Anniversary to me!
Hey... marriage is hard work...and we celebrate every year! It's a blessing!

I had drama at my wedding too--though not quite so odd!! (my DJ threatened on the day of my wedding not to come unless he could bring his 8 yr old son with him. then, he was a crappy DJ anyway.. ugh!)

Happy Anniversary!! You looked gorgeous!
