Saturday weighing in

Saturday...and time to weigh in!

a weight loss 1.5 lbs.

OK so that's a good start...
but what can I improve on....

EATING right!
GETTING OUTSIDE and exercising with the boys.
WATER
WATER
WATER!

Still working on losing 14 lbs. by age 41!
(remember I'm 5'10" so I can make it!)
I've got 25 days to complete my goal.

More concrete ways of getting there.

Exercise 30 minutes a day.
Drink water and tea.
Eat lots of green stuff.
Take the boys bike riding daily!

So there it is...the only real way to lose weight is eating right and exercising.

Have a great weekend folks,
blessings!

My sister and I have vowed to lose 10 lbs each by the time we see each other again (spring?). I know if I would eat normally instead of binging on stuff that tastes good, it would just fall off. Like last night, there were homemade popcorn balls at this party we went to. A normal person would have one. I had like 7. (In my defense they were small and kind of healthy, with plain popcorn and real molasses . . . . . .)

Good for you! I need to lose a few lbs myself. A couple of years ago I was motivated to lose for my daughter's wedding. I made a goal a few months ahead of the wedding to lose 1 pound a week and roughly counted my calorie intake and out. It worked! I lost 25 lbs, more than I intended to! For me, it was easier and more successful to take tiny steps. The motivation helped too. Have a great day and good luck!

That's great ladies. I think it's important to set goals... that's why I'm going for the 14/41 goal. It's pretty high but I figure that then I can go into the holiday season trying to taper off and lose another pound each week. @ Bethany...you can do it, and popcorn balls would be hard to resist.

Yes, keep up the good work. And you are so right. One needs to add good eating and exercise to their lifestyle habits.

Happy November. Enjoy your extra hour ~Natalie

You're right! And my sister used to say, "Eat less, move more!"

How was your son's bday today?

I love your honesty. I am going to take your advice and eat better, drink water, & get outside.
Good luck, I know you can do this thing.
