It's Friday Photo Flashback over at Alicia's and I totally loving this meme! (Did I say that right?)Well I decided to use some profound picture
...something stirring
...something moving
...something so over the top.
Well since I couldn't find any that fit those specs...
I grabbed a photo that sits in our living room next to the music player. It's circa 1992 or 93 and it's of my hubby (yes...with the big guns in the leather jacket...his muscles are still there...just hidden like mine), myself and Crystal Lewis. Yes...you read that right...
Crystal Lewis.
We found out she was scheduled for a signing at our local Christian book store...so we ran over there quick. We spent many a date night in the 90s at Crystal Lewis concerts. The last concert I went to I dragged a child who was 5 (who couldn't talk and wasn't potty trained...that's another post for another time) and a very active 3 year old....can you tell we were diehard fans?
She has such a powerful voice for God and she started professionally singing when I first found out about contemporary Christian music. I love this photo. After all these years...she's still my favorite Christian singer...period!

Wow, that is so neat....I love Crystal Lewis. That is some suit she's wearing ;) What a fun photo and memory.

I forgot to mention that she lives within a 100 mile radius of us so she does concerts around here often...i.e. churches and Harvest, stuff like that.

Okay, that is way cool. Obviously, you were meant to get there and meet her and share that photo and revisit the memory all these years later. Isn't great the way these things work out? (I thought the envelope would have a punch line...oops!)
