Cali's Poem...(a must read)

Here's a poem written by a girl in our church who's only 10 years old. Her name's Cali.

It's so insightful and cute I asked her mom if I could post it and here it is...

I am a funny and crazy girl with dreams

I wonder what I will do in the presence of Jesus

I hear God calling my name to serve him

I see my life in the future

I want to live in my own world where everything is perfect

I am a funny and crazy girl with dreams

 

I pretend that I sit next to God praising him in heaven

I feel like I'm a fairy princess in my own kingdom

I touch the hearts of other people

I worry that my life may not go as I expected

I cry over the sadness that has happened before

I am a funny and crazy girl with dreams

 

I understand my place in life

I say my God is real

I dream about the future

I try to help others

I hope when I am older I am a success

I am a funny and crazy girl with dreams

 

Wasn't that great a great way to start your worship day....
