Only 14 days ago...

I enjoy the ease of our current weather...but it wouldn't hurt if there was a little of this (snow) in the mountains as well.  The bible speaks of snow and I can't believe I've missed these passages.  Whenever we see snow...we should be reminded that God is too awesome for words (Job 37: 5-6) and we are to be faithful in whatever we are to do.

Proverbs 25:13 - Like the cold of snow in the time of harvest is a faithful messenger to those who send him, For he refreshes the soul of his masters.

Whatever work we have for today, whatever we have planned to do...we are to be faithful and true.  That's one of the ways that God describes what snow pictures for us.  As we are faithful in what we do...we are to "Praise the Lord as we do it."  Psalm 148:7 - "Praise the LORD from the earth, you great sea creature of the deeps, fire and hail, snow and mist, stormy wind fulfilling his word!"

That's easy to say...but sometimes hard to do.  Thursdays are usually VERY productive or not productive at all.  Does anyone else have problems with Thursdays?
