stay the course...

Sundrenched patio for my sister's baby shower...
provided opportunities for reflection. (I took this with my phone before anyone showed up.)

I successfully completed my first diaper cake.
Now if you know about making one of these.
It's a process.
A LOOONNGGGG process!
You have to organize, roll, roll, roll...and stay the course until it's completed.

A group of my sister's friends who all showed up a the same time,
distracted me from my final decorating touches.

But as soon as I realized other stuff belonged on the table.
I went back to fussing.

That's our Christian life sometimes.

Life has many distractions.
Family.
Work.
Our own folly!

But God is faithful to gently guide us back on course if we let him.
When we see His hand in guiding us. Let Him guide.
Let Him put you back on course.
My sister Moni, myself, with Ms. Howard!
Ms. Howard is still running the race and staying the course for Jesus!
My sister and I were in her kindergarten Sunday School class years ago.
After 35 years, she's still teaching the SAME SUNDAY SCHOOL class!

Staying the course indeed!

Such a large crowd of witnesses is all around us! So we must get rid of everything that slows us down, especially the sin that just won't let go. And we must be determined to run the race that is ahead of us.

Run the race...stay the course!

Blessings!
