Do we really believe that?
When life has gone bad...
REALLY BAD...
can we say....
It is God who is making this happen so things will be better in the long run?
It is God who is allowing this to happen so things will be better in the long run?
I know I can quote it.
I know I can glibly say I believe it...
but do
I
REALLY
BELIEVE
IT?
My American mindset has problems with this verse.
I KNOW bad has to happen in the world...
but sometimes I think...
quietly when there is no one around...
Bad happens to bad people and good happens to good people!
You know, you do too..
Her husband wouldn't have left her if she had been cuter?
Her kids wouldn't be strung out on drugs if she had been more diligent?
Her parents would be healthier if she lived closer?
We judge.
We condemn.
Maybe, just maybe...the bad...
the seasons...
the storms are getting us ready like Joseph...
and All things do work together for GOOD
to those who LOVE the LORD!

well lorrie, i'm going thru some rough times right now and i keep asking god, why me???..so i'm hoping that god helps me in the end..great post my dear friend..
