Lord, I know my prayers are filled with I want...I need...

"can I have"

"gimme this"

"strike this person with coals and fire"...

you know Lord...the typical stuff...

but

today

I come

asking...

OK...

for the same thing...

Lord...

Can I have a new camera?

I'm lusting after one.

Can I have another few weeks of school...

like we've been having?

I didn't get called by any school...

last week...

and the week before.

So Can I make it to the end of the year....PPLLEEAASSEE..

Lord while you're at it...

make sure my brother-in-law is fine.

'cause he's my sister's husband and...

he's my nieces dad...

and I guess I love him too...

ummm in the Lord...

and Lord...I know I asked for the camera before praying for my brother in law.

But you know how shallow I can be.

So Lord...help me not to be so shallow.
