Taming the tongue Tuesday!

oh no one can tame our tongues........

Rambutan.

I can't really even say the name.
Our upscale hotel at the conference had an upscale continental breakfast.
My family is use to the Comfort Inn/Waffles/Cereal line.

Nice to dine with cloth napkins for breakfast...REAL danish and

spoiled with Rambutan...
fresh berries on fresh waffles...
sweet freshly pressed juices...
and
this spiny...
looking
thing.

Of course I had to try it.

After we played with it at the table.

I cut it.

I cut it again.

Then I hacked at it with a butter knife.

The fruit revealed a creamy translucent white flesh backed by a crimson shell.

a little fresh pearl from the garden.

The taste.

Stunning and refreshing.

Actually great.

Don't let your words be like the outside of that fruit.

Yeah...that Rambutan.

Spiky...spiny...hard to get too..

you can't be approached...you catch people off guard.

Be like the inside.

transparent...refreshing...nourishing...

a delight.

Let your words be a delight...

to others (family included.)

I'm headed to the Asian market...I love the inside

of Rambutan!

Having had the pleasure of blogging on this subject myself (gag! ha ha), I thank you for your insight on this! Very cool - and I have NEVER heard of that before: Rambutan. Hmmm...
Hugs to you today, my fellow Revolve-r :)

On the other hand, I've heard it advised, wisely I think, that a Christian ought to be solid/firm on the outside but with a soft center.
