Testosterone Tub Tail...

Proverbs 12:24
- Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in slave labor...
This same child...who's washing and cleaning floors at the rescue mission tonight isn't interested in wanting to be clean himself.
(I know it's a boy-preteen thing...but it makes me laugh everytime.)

Here's my
Testosterone Tub Tail...

Bathtime routine last nite
7:15 p.m. Family Room

"Ney...it's time to take a bath."

"Mooommmm" in typical argument attorney mode
"I don't want too!  I'm not a BATH type of kid."
I knew his quirky rationale was coming...

"Can't you just Febrese me?  Doesn't it say..."seeks out and neutralize orders"?"

"Nathan...I'm not gonna Febrese you?" (I'm trying not to giggle.)

"Aaaawwww mom!"

"Get to the tub."

The funny thing is he's dead serious!...Gotta love growing boys!

That is hilarious!!! I use Febreeze too and I've been tempted to spray it on my husband many times. Your son is so clever and I admire how he's lending a helping hand at the rescue mission. Go you!!

P.S. When my 3 yr old son objects to taking a bath in the tub, I pretend (with all seriousness) that I will give him a bath in the toilet instead. Yep, it usually does the trick :o) I'm meanie mommy!
