Weighing in on my Weight!

Well I reached a SMALL milestone today....you know how you are in a certain digit zone....and you just want move to the next set of digits...like you're 150 forever and finally you see 149....you're like...oooohhhh I'm in the 4o's.

Well I finally hit the next set of 10s in my quest for better health.

It was.....know you know I'm not gonna tell you! But I called my best friend who doesn't live here and she said...
Yoo hoo! She's the one keeping track of my weight so I don't get confused. tee hee!

My other friend...who comes by to weigh me said..."O.k. now you've got to turn it up." Then she sat me down as our boys went nuts in the backyard and reviewed all the things I need to do to improve what I'm doing.  Between you guys online, me calling Oakland, everyone at church and school knowing, and being weighed in weekly....I've got great support.

So I'm saying Yoo Hoo too!

Now my next goal is to hit the next 10 below this one, and the next one and the next one....
eventually I'll be in the 100s...and not over 200. (Wow I can't even think of that!)

Oh I guess you want to know how much weight I lost....

well...

drum roll please...

2.5 lbs.

(I would love to lose more faster but my doctor says if I crash diet...it will all come back...I don't want it to come back.)
Once I lose another 15 lbs...I'll be in the next size. When you're as tall as me...it takes 25-30 lbs for truly go from one size to another.

So I'll take 2.5 and keep moving on!

Blessings and Peace.

Things to do....drink more water...exercise everyday...stay around positive people...and stay around folks who don't sabotage my diet (and that's hard when you're little kids don't even mean to foil you.)

What an inspiration! You are so blessed to have all the support! Keep at it a little at a time and you will reach that goal. Blessings!

Just this morning I scolded a child for sticking a huge cinnamon roll in her dieting mom's face and asking her if she wanted a bite! The kids are the biggest obstacles to dieting! I am back down into my proper set of 10's today and very happy about that. Following your journey and doing WW points with A from church is really helping me. Support is key!

Woo-hoo!!! I say 2.5 pounds is worth celebrating! I've been losing since last September and soooooooooo many times at my weekly weigh-in, I discovered I had only lost 4 ounces or maybe a half a pound. But you keep going, girl and they add up...I promise! I'm thrilled to hear you have lots of support...that's SO helpful! Know that I'm praying for your continued success and cheering you from the sidelines. = )

WAY TO GO on your 2.5 lbs. You are actually losing just as you should 2-3 lbs per week. I have been blessed to have you over at my fitness blog and I've been praying for you.

I love your things to do at the end and be sure to keep GOD in the midst and as your guide in all things. You are precious!

Just remember the scale is not necessary an indicator of health! Funny Joe and I were just having that discussion today! Keep it up!
