Christmas Holiday update...no 1.

Warning...
the photos you see are
stolen from
facebook...my cell phone and my son's ipod video feature.

My camera...
is still
not
here!

Uggh...

Anyway...
here's what happened the last few weeks...

Photo taken 1st Sunday of New Year's at church. We weren't prepared to have a family photo taken. We weren't dressed matching or "casket sharp"! I told the photographer...I didn't even have lipstick...so he'll have to do us again!

Our annual Christmas day photo at the beach. Yeah...we use to mail it to people and torture them...but with the advent of facebook and cell phones we can just post and send and torture in real time!

After Christmas we went to a youth conference with 30 of our youth kids. They really don't have a problem staying awake for 3 days of church but can't seem to stay awake for a 30 minute sermon at home...go figure.

The above photo is one of our older youth boys in the prayer room...needless to say...the prayer room was AWESOME!

Our last morning...some attendees and myself went to the cutest little Euro bakery near the hotel. It was foo foo to say the least...we had a blast...
Conference theme..... are you gonna be "MARKED" for Jesus?

My boys on Christmas...yes two are still in their pjs....it's Christmas and it's so fun to go to the beach in pjs....I wish they would have stayed out of the water.... they kept looking for whales... I kept telling them... "WRONG BEACH!"

A really bad cell photo of my son waiting for the North Pole Express train...
it's modeled after the Polar Express movie...complete with pjs, hot chocolate and a conductor. I don't like to emphasize secular parts of Christmas...but I make an exception for
ALL
THINGS
TRAIN!

So excuse the bad photos...
if my camera doesn't turn up at the school...
I'll be getting a new one...

Praise the Lord we make it to
2010 or
2 thousand ten
or whatever we're calling it....

I'm just glad it's not 2009...

Now go on and get with your day!
Blessings!

I hope your camera turns up. I lost my expensive sunglasses at Christmas time last year at the girls' school and I am still keeping my eyes out for them! Meantime, no more expensive glasses for me . . . .

I loved your thought about staying awake during a 30 minute sermon. Way to go!

I loved your family photo's, what a nice way to hop into 2010. Yah, about working out.....it snowed this morning so I did not go and I have to work midnights the next three nights BUT...I plan on going indeed. Please lets encourage each other and look me up on facebook I am there under lisa porcalla.
We can be each others support, I was so glad to see your comment.
I also have financial tips I want to share on my blog because of a good book I am reading called The Blessed Life by Robert Morris. I have been born and raised in church, watched my parents tithe faithfully and have tithed myself but I have already learned a few things.
God Bless
keep in touch

Very cool pictures, Lorrie!! This my 3rd post reading about The Polar Express train! I wish they had one close to here!!

My sister lives in Hawaii, so her Christmas cards every year are her family at the beach too!
