Trying to get back on track...

Today is one of those days...
it's already 8:30 and I'm feeling the procrastination bug set in.

I should be blogging about the band competition I went to this weekend. I learned so much in the way of organizing...I actually stopped to take notes. It took a force of 25 people to feed, organize a band of 50 with an audience of several hundred. It all went off without any major glitches...amazing. My worker-in-tow (my 5 year old) was so amazed at watching all the bands and seeing all the food and people. It was fun to see our family all together working for a common cause without any pressure to perform...well except the one out on the field. We had a blast!

I should be blogging about a church woman's conference put on at my church by our church Women's ministry director. It was going on the same time our youth have worship and bible study so I had to (ok I begged) my hubby to watch the 5 year old. That didn't go so well...a 5 year old and teen bible study just doesn't mix. Next year I won't even ask him...I felt bad afterwards. I realize I can't go to everything for the entire time. Many moms came for a portion or not at all...because of their MOTHERING responsibilities....note to self...I need to do the same.

But alas...I'm not blogging about any of that...I'm headed to finish morning laundry...
pick up the kitchen...
and head to the farmer's market...
OK I might make a little stop at Target and WalMart...
(a girl's gotta get her groceries....right?)

Have a blessed day!

I know, it's so hard to be at so many places at one time! I wish we could do it all (well, not all)..lol.

Have a great day, Lorrie! Happy shopping!
