Help! Suggestions folks...I need help!

A week... where there is...

no work (for hubby)

no school (for hubby and the boys)

no commitments...save Thanksgiving and camping on Friday...

and to be honest...

no money.

And when I mean no money... I mean...

Thanksgiving is what is already in the kitchen...

Praise the Lord our kitchen is filled with food (not all the foo foo stuff)

but meat, milk, bread, flour, sugar....the staples!

Why do I have no money right now....

Well I can't say...that's in the works and you'll have to keep checking in to find out...

(I hate to put in suspense...but we're cooking up something besides Thanksgiving this week....)

and no I'm not selling anything... no time for that... but this photo is a hint...

now...

I'm a big girl...so back to the food...

Although I have most everything I need in the kitchen - I'm running out of butter
and sometimes it hard to get....

(that's another hint...of what I'm cooking up besides Thanksgiving...)

So what's something good to do with the WHOLE crew that doesn't involve using any cash and not using any gas?

You think of some and I will too!

Oh Scripture of the day (courtesy of a little girl learning this is Awana last night...)

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men! Colossians 3:23

Amen!

We spent the weekend making up active games....combining baseball and golf etc. We did it with limited space and it cost nothing :) We love watching movies as a family...or playing random games (tag, hide/seek).

You have got me on the edge of my seat!

I say, walk to the park and play soccer together, or some kind of game. You can also eat lunch at the park. My kids love that!!

We've started doing puzzles together. We find a place that we can leave it out and work on it whenever there's a few free moments. Sometimes we all work at the same time, and sometimes it's just one of us over some coffee quietly in the morning. Plus it's good for the kids fine motor skills lol!
