sun and sulking...is that what we do?

Alright...don't look so gloom since we're going without electronics today...
let's try to fly these kites at the beach park....

Ummmm.... Bry can you concentrate to help Nathan put together the kite?

Yes I see the flower...now about that kite?

Nathan...if you don't want to work on your kite...you can do the other one...it's pretty easy

Thanks brother.... The KITE...it's up and running!!!
It's going higher and higher...I'll just keep running...

No you won't...I want electronics and if I can't have any fun...I'm taking your fun...

Sulk if you want...I got the kite back and I'm getting ready to fly it again...

A little silly...but don't we do the same with the Lord?
When things don't go our way and we don't get what we want...
we try to sulk and let everyone know we're not happy.

Isaiah says
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,"...

God always has a plan for us and sometimes it might seem a little painful...
but if we focus on what what we're doing
and not what we're
missing out on....

there is beauty to behold...

Well a little sulking took some of the focus off the beautiful view around us...
so beautiful - clear enough to see the islands...

Before I could get upset with Nathan about sulking...I just kept thinking...
I do the same with the Lord...
we really do the same!

Blessings

Isn't it funny how when we want to teach our kids a lesson, we're the ones who actually get taught?

I have decided not to do "unplugged" day during normal school weeks. They are "unplugged" each school day till at least 3pm if not later anyhow, and then between sports and homework and so forth there's not much time anyhow, maybe one show to wind down. I fear it may make it harder to go back to it during holidays though.
