What do you think?

Well let's be sensible ladies...
Many of you, as am I,  are SAHMs and we have an obligation to the Lord to be sensible with money that comes into our hands...

God has blessed us and let's be good stewards of his blessings.  In Deuteronomy 21:20 it says..."they shall say to the elders, "This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious.  He will not obey us. He is a profligate and a drunkard."

Well a profligate is person who is recklessly extravagant

...a person who shamelessly is wasterful...

You could be wasteful with

time,

money,

really anything...that's why a profligate is mentioned with the drunkard.

I don't know about you but...I don't want to be with the drunkards...

So with that...think of ways you can be good stewards with your time, with your temple (body)...now I've gone to stepping on my own toes...and how we can be good stewards with the money we have.

The only thing we should be shamelessly extravagant about is...Jesus.

Have a great day...Here are some sights for saving money...

so my question is...

What ways do you save your family money here and there?

I have learned that there really is a difference between a want and a need. I always ask myself questions:

Do I really need this dress? No, because I have enough dresses. In fact I have one that looks similar to this one.

Do I really need a bigger house? No, because if I decluttered this one my house would look bigger.

Do we really need to go out and eat? No, because I'm too lazy to cook so I need to budget some quick and easy meals that even the kids can fix. Save lots of $$$$

You understand what I'm trying to say. A lot of things we say we need, we really don't. Look at the Lord's Prayer for example. It's says "give us this day our daily bread." If you have your daily bread then that's all you need for the day. We aren't suppose to worry about tomorrow.....

BTW.....thanks for the links :)
