Women's Luncheon...

I'm finally going to reveal a secret you don't know about me....

I spent Thursday evening polishing silver
so I could put it at a "Woman's Luncheon" table at our church....

And I guess the secret is out...
(that's my first table with tiaras...silly me I had to do two tables...)

That I am a tablesetting fool for the Lord....
I named this one....My spot on the Shore  (what else...)
(that's my Noritake china circa 1992 folks...it's so beachy keen)

I love hanging around tablescapes....
this is my friend Julia with her garage sale find...(isn't it puurrddyy...)

And here we are in front of my "Diamonds for the Lord Table"...
(we're a little hokey...)

My sister Moni came and sat at the
Diamonds table since it WAS her china I used there.
(remember the photo from Friday...boy we've changed lots.)

But...I sat with my china and enjoyed seeing out being used...
I was surrounded by women I love and admire...so it was all good...
(but I couldn't get pixs of them...too busy taking them of the china...so sad.)

Just look at that sugar bowl...it's so sweet!
Isn't there a verse that says we're not suppose to store
up our treasures here on earth...hmmm

My friend Eve won most "Elegant" table and guess
who won for "Best Theme"...
(I think the 99 cent store tiaras did it?)
That would be me... (I won the other little yellow basket...)
(and I was trying to not go over the top...I have a little habit doing that.
I think my mom's punch bowl always looks so elegant.)

We are all Diamonds to the Lord. Lumps of hard clap being fashioned with pressures of life and stresses of living.  The end result is a life and faith that's costly, rare and beautiful.

God wants us to take our lives and use them to pursue the dreams he gave us.  Look to the scripture and pray that he can take your life, fulfill your God given dreams and have you shining for the Lord.

Blessings.

Please note my sweet hubby helped me wash all the plates while I dried...
Look at those strong hands taking care of my china...Go Bill go!

I was wondering if you won anything! I would have liked a better look at Julia's garage sale finds!

Yeah...I won the other basket that Abi had in her hand. Julia's garage sale finds were the entire 6 piece set including the coffee pot, tea pot, everything of a dayware set. She got it all for $35...so that was the serious score.

Lorrie..those table settings were beautiful! We just had our Ladies Spring Tea, and I think it's so awesome to see how all the women put their tables together!

Lovely!

we did something like this last Christmas! It was fun to decorate a table. I'll probably do it again this year.
